In the autumn of 2019, French-born artist Jean-François Fourtou was invited to create a theme window called “Fantasy Garden†for “Shanghai Hermes Houseâ€. In the form of surreal narrative, several gardener dolls, Nanito, were created as the protagonists. The viewer returned to the fragrant garden of childhood and re-examined the process and fun of creation.

The male world window creates an underground cave filled with unknowns. In the underground roots of Hermès boutique, Nanito is looking at the roots, while the other two are leaning on the ladder and stepping on the wheelbarrow, which seems to be a transition.

In the window of the accessories, Nanito is stepping up the glimmer, and the other is “full of loadsâ€, in a garden full of blue sky and grass.
Fragrant garden
In the women's world window, the gardener is either watering the new season of Nanito, or sitting on a haystack to enjoy leisure time; and in the sunflower field, there is a scarecrow who is protecting the flowers. The white snails sneaked into the ground and climbed from the underground world to the dream garden, adding more dreams to the garden.
